International News: 9 May, 2002

Todays news comes from Nate Holynski & Dan Taylor.

The Saturday is CZW's 'High Stakes' card (11 May, 2002) that is shaping up to be a beauty. Chris Hero (who has been tearing shit up on the indy's in the Chicago, Indiana and Mid West areas) will be accompanied by manager Dave Prazak against CZW's big man with the junior moves, Ruckus. Hero is not accompanied by Prazak by his choosing, however they will put aside their differences to go into battle for this show. Should be really interesting matchup - either they'll steal the show or flop, so alot of preasure on both guys, in particular Hero as this is his debut. CZW fans are known to be very critical of talent, so Hero needs to come through with all guns blazing. Both guys are phenominal atheletes, and this match has the possibilities of becoming a legend.

Saturday Night, May 18th at the South Philadelphia Viking Hall on the corner of Swanson and Ritner 3PW is holding a card involving a number of big name former ECW workers.

The Public Enemy make their Philadelphia Return

A special evening gown match between Jasmin St. Claire and Miss Candie!!

Also scheduled to appear:
"The Pitbull" Gary Wolfe, The Blue Meanie w/Jasmin St. Claire, Joey Matthews, Christian York, Colt Cabana, Chris Hero, Kevin Knight, Dylan Knight w/ Miss Candie and much more.

Looks like a good show with some quality ex-ECW and big name indy guys on the show. The main event should be crazy, Jasmin St. Claire and Ms. Candie should be hot, Mathews and York never fail to impress, Cabana and Hero are two of the biggest names in the IWA MS (Cabana even holds the IWA MS World Title) and more. Should be a blinder.

More news to come.
