International News: 10 May, 2002

Todays news comes from Nate Holynski.

Hey everyone,

For all of you Dai Nihon fans, Highspots.com will be selling Big Japan tapes again. All recent TV editions from Samurai TV are listed as well as all their older BJW tapes.

They worked out a deal with WK media to sell the tapes so great news for all.

Bye bye Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig from the WWE roster to after his absoultley stupid fucking behaviour on the flight back to the US from the UK tour. He got into a fight with Brock Lesnar and accorrding to some reports Triple H and Paul Heyman tried to stop the fight. Reportedly during the struggle HHH, Lesnar and Hennig all fell into the emergency exit door, which is obviously very dangerous, stupid and immature behaviour from grown, professional athlethes on big fucking salaries. Apparentley more heads may roll and others can expect to be in the WWE doghouse for a while to come.

Steve Corino suffered a torn bicep on his last Zero One tour, and won't be working any dates untill late May when he heads back to Japan for Zero One.

Jim Cornette was joined by Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore for an interview segment. Rob Conway opened off on the mic, talking about their Southern tag title shot at the WWE house show Friday May 17 in Louisville and talked about how they were going to win the titles back from the Revolution. Dinsmore then got on the mic and started talking about an on going angle with Flash. Apparently Flash had some sort of problem with Dinsmore outside of the arena and Cornette wanted to help clarify. Almost immediately Trailer Park Trash and Flash storm the ring, still upset with Dinsmore as Flash got on the mic. He called out Dinsmore and delivered a hard slap to Nick enraging Dinsmore. The two were then pulled apart, but Jim Cornette stopped them to tell them that they would get a chance to fight each other, and that would be next for the TV Main Event.

TV Main Event: Nick Dinsmore w/ Rob Conway vs. Flash w/ Trailer Park Trash
Flash was DQ'd. Huge brawl after the match between all four, which apparently took ages to break up - heck, even Jimmy cornette was down there trying to break them apart.

CZW has announced two more names for their second annual Best of the best tournament. They are Great Britain's very talented Jonny Storm and Jody Fleisch. Both are excellent competetors and can really go. The stuff I've seen of Jody from MPRO is mind blowing stuff - he has some insane spots and can work as well should be really great. They join the other three who have already been announced for the tournament:
Super Dragon
B-Boy
M-Dogg 20

IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling returns to Clarksville, on this Friday night 10 MAY 2002

IWA World Heavyweight Title Match
IWA Heavyweight Champion "Classic" Colt Cabana VS. Chris Hero - should be brilliant... plus nadia mmmmmmmmmmm

IWA Light Heavyweight Title Match
IWA Light Heavyweight Champion "Sexy" Ace Steel VS. CM Punk - Teacher VS Student. Should be a great match up

IWA Tag Team Title Match Winner gets to pick new partner as Tag Team Champs
Ian Rotten VS. Cash Flo - Interesting match up should be super stiff and phsyical as both guys like the big stiff chops, however I'm not a fan of this stipulation. Really silly stip - it de-values the tag title straps in a big way...

Fans Bring The Weapons
Madman Pondo/'Spyder' Nate Webb VS. Corporal Robinson/Necro Butcher - Bumps, blood and violence. What more can I say? Seriously should be brutal.

"Ice Pick" Vic Capri VS. Todd Morgan - Should be entertaining encounter

Rollin Hard VS. 2 Tuff Tony - Interesting to see how 2 Tuff Tony works after coming back from a Big Japan tour. I'd say he may be a little tired and weary. Look for this to be pretty average.
